Hotel Kint, located in the heart of downtown Valkenburg. Situated in a beautiful old monastery, it is known as Valkenburg's modern and hip hotel. The hotel consists of 32 hotel rooms and on the ground floor you will find Bistro Francis, a modern bistro for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Bistro Francis is the beating heart of the hotel with an impressive bar and a large open kitchen where traditional bistro dishes are prepared in a new style. Check-in & check-out can be done digitally via your smartphone, but guests are also welcomed personally by our hospitable team.

Your role
Do you have a good dose of positivity and feel a high level of responsibility? Who knows, you might soon be working as a night porter at Hotel Kint! You will receive late-arriving guests, check them in, and ensure safety during the night. During your night shift, you'll make preparations for the next day. You make sure breakfast is ready and you take some cleaning duties. In the morning, you are ready to check out early departing guests.

During the night, you are the first point of contact for our hotel guests. You speak to them and perform administrative tasks. Always with the positive mindset you are known for. You are also responsible for access control of hotel entrances. And in case of emergencies? Then you are the first person responsible.

This is you

You have experience in the hotel industry or security.
You are service-oriented and have a positive mindset.
You are proactive and feel a high degree of responsibility.
You are also deployable during weekends and holidays.
You have a good command of Dutch and English. Another language is an advantage.

Dishwasher

In this role, no day is the same. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for an optimal experience in our new restaurant with approximately 80 seats. We will be open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and dinner. Our restaurant welcomes not only hotel guests but also non-hotel guests! Sometimes an underestimated role, but not with us.
